Day 3 | Chakra Healing Through Food and Asanas (Yoga Poses) | Smoothie Recipe

Balancing your energies through foods and yoga is an ancient practice of chakra healing. The foods we consume as well as movement and breath, can play a vital role in maintaining energetic balance.

Each of the seven main chakras—energy centers that run along the spine—resonates with specific colors, elements, and nutritional properties.

By mindfully incorporating foods and poses that focus and correspond to each chakra, we can support our overall wellbeing and address specific imbalances.

3 Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Yellow
Located in the upper abdomen, this chakra governs personal power, confidence, and metabolism.
Supportive Foods:

Yellow foods: corn, yellow peppers, bananas, pineapple
Whole grains: oats, brown rice, quinoa
Spices: ginger, turmeric, cumin
Herbal teas: chamomile, peppermint
These energizing foods boost confidence and support digestive fire.

Creating a Balanced Chakra Diet
For overall energetic balance, aim to incorporate foods from each chakra category regularly. When addressing specific imbalances, focus more on foods that correspond to the affected chakra.

For example, if you’re feeling ungrounded, emphasize root chakra foods.
Focus on grounding yoga poses and or hip openers

Remember that intention matters.

As you practice these poses and consume these foods, set an intention to nourish the corresponding chakra and express gratitude for the healing properties of each item.

By aligning your diet and movement with chakra energetics, you’ll not only nourish your physical body but also support your entire energetic system, promoting holistic health and wellbeing.
