This weekend I was honored to speak with the good people of Harrisburg PA for Black Maternal Health Week. They got to hear about doula support, midwifery care, high risk pregnancies, contraception and my topic: perinatal mental health disorders.
Social media is great an all but nothing beats interacting with people in person!! We had fun, gave away prizes, learned a lot and empowered our audience to take charge of the health of Black mamas!
