Prostate Cancer Challenge – Take It Seriously – Black Men’s Health Clinic Board Member-Rev. Mkwanasi

BMHC would like to spotlight our very own Rev. Jordan Mkwanasi [pronounced Muh-quan-a-see], who is one of BMHC’s board members. He has been the senior pastor at Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church for 12 years. Rev. Mkwanasi is a sought-after preacher, workshop/seminar presenter, conference lecturer, author and motivational speaker. He spoke on a valuable topic in a video he created for his Tik Tok followers in his “Tuesdays with Pastor Jordan” series.

In this video, Rev. Mkwanasi sheds light on the significance of prostate cancer. He provided some numbers to show the importance of bringing awareness—about 13 out of every 100 American men will get prostate cancer. Rev. Mkwanasi puts out a challenge to all men: take this cancer seriously.

Rev. Mkwanasi shares that he is a survivor of prostate cancer, and the key to optimal health is early detection and going to the doctor on a regular basis. He asserted that changing your diet and eating the right foods, drinking water, and exercising will also be beneficial to your health.

Rev. Mkwanasi encouraged every man to visit their doctor to get checked.  Take control with care you can trust at the Black Men’s Health Clinic.
