What do you think the hardest part is about giving nutrition advice? Most people would say: “Getting clients to follow it.”
But, in my experience, that isn’t actually the case.
However, I get why people think that noncompliance is the issue. When I started coaching, I thought meal plans and macros were the answer.
Now, I know that advice that doesn’t match a person’s culture, beliefs, or access won’t stick.
✔️ Culturally irrelevant advice feels dismissive.
✔️ Clients don’t follow plans they don’t believe in.
✔️ Trust builds when you include, not exclude, their lived experience.
